About the Diabetes Navigator
According to recent discussion among American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) members and other key diabetes opinion leaders, the abundance of health care information on the Internet makes it difficult to find reliable information about type 2 diabetes. In fact, recent research suggests that less than 20 percent of online diabetes resources contain reliable information specific to type 2 diabetes.
In response to this need, AACE has worked in partnership with Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. to create this online type 2 diabetes resource, providing a selection of relevant and reliable online information for people living with type 2 diabetes and those who care for them. To assure the accuracy and relevance of the information presented here, all materials have been sourced from nationally and internationally recognized institutions and professional organizations and are backed by members of the AACE board of directors.
We hope that this resource and the tools it contains can help patients and caregivers better manage the disease and its impact on their daily lives.
